Here I go again

Seems like I can't quite stay put for more than a month at a time. Leaving tomorrow for Honolulu to see my sister, my brand new niece and other related mini-people. My parents are also joining up with us there for a Pacific Ocean rendezvous. Then it's off to Hong Kong with my parents to see some relatives and eat some good Cantonese food.

For 31 years before moving to Korea, I would have characterized myself as someone who likes to stay put. But these past two years of traveling have increased my adaptability, I think, in a good way... Still, I have to say I'm often half filled with regret and nostalgia upon leaving places, just as much as I'm filled with anticipation about going somewhere new...
