Eh... So we went to this concert yesterday. Gavin got some free tickets from a co-worker. Some famous Korean pop stars were supposed to be there, but a number of them didn't show up. BoA was there, but we missed her set because we were running a little late, and the stadium security insisted that we enter through a complicated, circuitous route even though there were no crowds whatsoever. Except for the crazy schoolgirls, the crowd didn't seem to be feeling it. K-Pop just isn't my thing, but I enjoyed the light show, and took a lot of pictures.
The highlight of the day turned out to be our trip to Anyang, a town south of Seoul by about an hour on the train. Anyang is the location of the Anyang Public Art Project 2005. The hiking trails in this resort town have been peppered with various art and architecture installations since November of last year.
We finished off the day by leaving the concert early for some delicious and tender Suwon kalbi.
